Update

Well as an all around update, I am STILL pregnant and am not surprised!! I always knew I would have to have stubborn children and Madison definitely is so why not this one!!! So I have twelve more days till my due date but she'll probably come late. Well that's what I keep saying so I don't get my hopes up.

Charlie is doing better and everything we hear in encouraging. He had surgery on his hand and that went well. He even woke up today and was joking and talking in Spanish to a friend. So I'd say we have lots to be grateful for!!!! Thanks to everyone for your prayers and please keep it up!!

Good News!!

So for some good news for the Schmidtlein Family, my brother Mike got his mission call!!! He is going to Indonesia!!! Yes, I have NEVER heard of anyone going there, but Mike is!! He leaves to go to the MTC October 22. I am so excited for him!!

Thank goodness for prayers!!

I just have to say how grateful I am for prayers and blessings!!! Yesterday my little brother Charlie was in a head on collision!! As soon as we found out he was given a priesthood blessing, his name was put in at many temples and was prayed for. My sister talked to the State Trooper and he told her that he was amazed he made it through the night!! He sustained quite a few injuries but is now out of the trauma ICU with no tubes and ventilator. The Nurses say that he is doing good and the attributes it to him being young and healthy. But I know that he was being watched over!!!

Dancing Girl

Madison decided to start dancing while I was blogging and it was so cute I HAD to tape it and post it!!!

Up and Moving

Well I am now up and moving. Can I just say I don't recommend bed rest to ANYONE!!!! Although I did get a lot accomplished that I normally wouldn't have. I crocheted three blankets, two for Emma (blessing blanket and baby) and a huge one for Madison which seemed to take FOREVER!! But they are done!! The blessing blanket was one I actually had wanted to do for Madison but never got done and didn't even attempt after I was shown the first day. So that was a long time in the coming. I also got a blessing bracelet and another one for Emma and two for Madison. Now I am up and walking a lot!! My Mom is up here to help and we walk three miles every morning. Its so nice to be up!!!

Well like usual my Mom always comes bearing gifts for us and this time she made this adorable skirt for Madison!! She loves it and especially loves spinning in it. You can't see them but Tara also made some adorable clips to go with it!!

Here is the full view of the skirt. She just took pants and cut them off and sewed on the other material. I just think it is the cutest skirt!!

Our Pretty Girl

After watching me pluck my eyebrows Madison decided that it was her turn!!! It is so funny how kids want to do everything their parents do!!! (I thought Brad was going to take a picture but instead he taped it, which was so much better!!!)

Our 4th of July

For our 4th of July we went to Brya's for a BBQ. (Well we went there the day before after my appointment so I didn't have to do any extra traveling.) At about 11:30 the guys (Brad, Chuck, Matt, and Warren) went shooting. As they were leaving Madison decided that she wanted to go, since she hardly ever gets to see her dad!! She started crying and saying "don't leave me!!" So of coarse she went!! And apparently did REALLY good!! When the guys came back at 4:30 ish they were ALL exhausted!!

We then had out BBQ. It was a lot of fun!! Well as much fun as it could be for me, laying on the couch. But it was so nice to be out of my room and have company!!! Matt and his family were there along with Loren and some friends and obviously Brya's family and ours. Madison just loves playing with her cousins.

We had a lof of fun and it was so great to be able to spend the 4th with family and friends.

Bed Rest

So here is my first project since on bed rest, my great friend Amberlee came over and taught me how to crochet on Saturday. So I decided to make Emma a blanket and here it is. Its amazing how fast you can get things done when you're laying around!!!! Now I'm doing one for Madison and a white blessing one for Emma. I love it. I just listen to a book on tape and crochet. It makes the time go by faster.
