My Dad sent this to me and I thought it was very fitting so I had to post it!!
As the celebration of the birth of our nation approaches I could think of no greater words to read and by which to abide in this hour when so many cry calamity and woe.
“Men may fail, but this nation won’t fail. I have faith in America; you and I must have faith in America.
“I plead with you not to preach pessimism. Preach that this is the greatest country in all the world. This is the favored land. This is the land of our forefathers. It is the nation that will stand despite whatever trials and crises it may yet have to pass through.
“We should not be concerned about finding what is wrong with America, but we should be finding what is right about America and should be speaking optimistically and enthusiastically about America.”

Happy Fourth Of July!!!!

So then I took a picture because I figured no one would believe we had our very own Bath Monster!! Don't be jealous, I've heard very few Bath Monsters are ever seen, let alone caught!!
It was Emma's first time at the lake and she LOVED it!!
Once she was in the water she did NOT want to get out!!!
Madison had fun playing with Lynnie and Ezra. Do you think she's ready for the water of what?
Madison was the most excited about fishing!! She kept asking when we were going fishing!! Here she is with Chuck's catch!! She unfortunately didn't catch one, not from the lack of trying!!! I have never seen a three year old sit for so long!!
Emma was happiest when we were in the tent since I would let her crawl around!!
The camp ground was beautiful!! Lots of of trees and water!! The best part was FLUSHABLE toilets!! A novelty I have never had while camping!!
My adorable niece Jenna.
Brad was not there most of the time because he ended up working but to make up for it he bought Madison a fishing pole!! Well really he had his eye on it before the trip but didn't get it until he came back on Monday!! Madison, true to form, kept hugging it and thanking him for it!!
Here she is with her purple and pink fishing pole!!
Apparently Emma can't wait to go fishing herself!!
The family the last day in front of the tent, I say last day so you know we had already been out there for almost three whole days, which is why we look so great!!
After a long week many of us were really wiped out!!!

And our second new thing was Emma swimming for the first time!!
