6 weeks!!!

So Emma is now six weeks old!! I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast!! I really think she growing faster then Madison did. Now I don't know if that is because I have two now and I'm busier or if its because she's got more Schmidtlein in her then Madison does.

Here she is giving me a big smile, unfortunately you can't see her dimples is this picture.
Her big sister loves her sooo much and is already protecting her when people try to touch her.

Prayers

We have been working on Madison saying her own prayers. She is very good at repeating what we say and so lately we've been trying to be better about having her say them on her own. She always forgets how to start them and so we prompt her and then there is a long pause and she will usually say some things with out us telling her to. WELL tonight was no different, she started said thank you for my family and then her bum.

That's right she said

"Thank you for my BUM!!!"

I was actually peaking to see if she was messing around and she actually put her hand on her bum when she said it. She then proceeded with "thank you for my toes, and lips, and arms, and eyes, and nose...." But I thought it was so funny that she remembered her bum. I really had to struggle not to laugh out loud!!!! It's so funny the things kids say!!

Working with Dad

Not only do I have a handy man but I've got a handy little girl!!
Brad uses her as the Jack!! I have one tuff girl!!

That one apparently worked.

Brad had been trying to get his truck working and has had lots of help. Today Madison was getting different sizes when they wouldn't "fit." She just loves being out with her Dad!! I love it too, except when I have to bathe her afterwards!! She gets so messy she has to strip before she comes in the house. But I figure who cares, she's having fun and I'm getting to get stuff done inside!!

Parade

On Monday we went to the parade and Madison and Lynnie went on the Lewis' float. Apparently Madison was not as good at throwing candy this year!! This is where she was the whole time. Eating the candy!!

Blessing Day

Today we were able to bless Emma.





I just love when babies are blessed!! It was especially great because we were able to have some of our fmaily there. Matt and his family came from Sacremento and so did Brya and the kids. We also had my Aunt Cherie and Uncle Don and Loren from my family. Brad parents, Jess and Jake and Traci , and Matt and Angie were also there. Alot of Brad's Aunts and Uncles were here from out of town also. I wish there could have been more from my family but it was great to have the ones that were able to come!!!

Photo Shoot

Emma had her first photo shoot today for my friend Corrine's Etsty Store. She did really good until the end. Corrine got lots of smiles, of coarse they weren't there when we brought out my camera. Corrine made the tutu, braclet, headband, and flower. She does a great job, they are so cute!!

Dance Class

Well yesterday was the big day!! Madison had her first day of Dance!!Of coarse she had to pose with her little sister!
Then as she walked into the classroom she did her "Madison" pose...hands on the hips!!
They had tap first and that was a little crazy!!

They actually have decided to split the class up since there 14 kids in the class. They are 3-5 years old, which you can tell when you watch the class.
Then they did the ballet class. It was SO cute!!

They had to jump over the pooh bear, which is a little difficult when it goes to your knees. She went around it first, then over it.
I think the class was a success!! She loved it and She actually did really well listening!!
