How Birthday Expectations Change

So yesterday was my birthday and I was thinking about how things have changed from birthdays when I was younger to now that I'm 26. My Mom even pointed it out to me. When I was little I couldn't wait to get up and open my presents. Of coarse that never happened because I had to wait for my Dad to get home from work, but all day I was waiting sometimes I thought it would kill me to wait. Then there's now where Brad got up made me breakfast bathed both girls and got them ready for church, and we were still on time!! The day could have ended there and I would have been content!! Just him getting the girls ready was SO nice. That's when the LITTLE things mean the most!!! Don't get me wrong, the rest of the day was great with lots of birthday songs from family and gifts to open, But I just loved the morning ritual being done someone besides me!!

Dance

This our little "Dancing Girl" in her ballet shoes.
(that's what she calls herself when she's in her dancing clothes) Madison in her tap shoes
(Brad showed her how to pose for both pictures, it was rather funny!!)

So, today was a good day and sad day for me!! I signed Madison up for DANCE!! Which part of me is SO excited and the other part is So SaD!! I remember when I thought, I can't wait to put Madison is dance, it will be so fun. But that's forever away!! Well now its here and I still think it's going to be so fun BUT forever is here!!! She will be three in less then a month!! THAT is so sad to me!! Dumb I know but she's growing up and so excited to dance, might I add!! Today we got her shoes, she's doing tap and ballet, leotard and tights. They were the smallest sizes and still a little big, but what do you do!! When she got up from her nap she wanted to dance, not only did she want to dance but she had to put on her dance lothes and become a dancing girl!! I jus can't believe she getting so big!! Alright there's my whining about my little girl growing up!! It won't happen again.... till her birthday!!

Tea Party

Brad's parents have a Mrs. Potts and Chip Tea Set and Madison just loves it. So I decided to get her a tea set from Emma when we brought Emma home. Needless to say she loves it. So today we decided to have a tea party!! So,the three of us sat down to have our "Tea."
Then we taught Madison the proper way to drink your tea, pinkie up!!
Of coarse Brad did it best!!
We had a TON of tea!!
I foresee many Tea Parties in our Future!!!!
(the pink hue is due to Madison's curtains, they make the whole room look pink when they are closed, it's lovely)

Little Butterfly

Amberlee bought wings and tutu's for the girls, so Madison of coarse has been wearing them nonstop!! She just loves them. We borrowed the dress from Lynnie for pictures and I had to see how it would look. Which of coarse turned into taking pictures!!!
She just looks so Angelic!!! ( How deceiving!!!)

Our girls

Here is Emma 6 days old!! And to think I was worried about not being to have another one as cute as Madison!!!
Don't let this sweet face fool you, I can already see the plotting going on between the girls!!
After her first bath at home
They didn't bathe together obviously, but once Madison was done with her bath she had to come watch Emma. When we layed her on the counter and Madison wanted to lay next to her. Needless to say she didn't quite fit!!

Emma in her little dress her Aunt Brya bought for her.
Madison Just LOVES her Emma!! She always has to make sure that everyone knows that she is HER sister!!!
